The article indicates the form and nature of innovation on the factoring market in Poland, as well as their causes and directions of further development. Innovations in factoring services are grouped according to the criterion: "factoring's transaction cycle". Factoring's transaction was divided into the following two phases: pre-trade phase associated with finding the right service for company looking for a solution to its problem of financing and implementation's phase, determined by the duration of the factoring contract.
