The paper investigates into how the Polish community emerged and developed in Western Siberia in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. It draws special attention to sources of the Polish community in the region. It comprises data on the number of Poles, areas of their residence, farming and household activities in Siberia. The paper features various facts about the lifestyle of Poles in Siberia until 1917.
