The main principles of policultural education organization in the school pedagogical system.

The article outlines the main principles of policultural education organization. The main goal and the tasks of policultural education are the development of policultural competences and formation of tolerant person and responsible citizen who can effectively take part in the policultural democratic society. Due to the goal and tasks of policultural education, using the system approach, the following principles of its organization are distinguished: the principle of humanism, the principle of entire cultural picture of the world, the principle of cultural relevance, the principle of citizenship and integration, the principle of positive attitude to cultural diversity, the principle of dialogical interaction, the principle of pedagogical ethics, the principle of interdisciplinarity. Policultural education should be organized according to peculiarities of sociocultural context, as well as integrated in different teaching activities and interdisciplinary topics. The accent should be put on the formation of tolerant behavior which is based on citizen responsibility and social partnership. Thus the task of Ukrainian educational system is the formation of person able to live with the others in the policultural democratic society and, keep own cultural identity.
