Problematyka warsztatu prac naukowych studentów pedagogiki to kwestia nader istotna i aktualna, wymagająca nowszego spojrzenia. W opracowaniu podjęto taką próbę – ponadaddytywnego przedstawienia istoty, składników i funkcji tegoż warsztatu. Natomiast w świetle wyników badań własnych opisane zostały umiejętności samokształceniowe studentów pedagogiki. W zakończeniu sformułowany został postulat prowadzenia pogłębionych badań nad warsztatem prac naukowych studentów pedagogiki celem modernizacji jego teorii i praktyki.

The academic research methods as used by students of pedagogy are the issue of great importance and relevance which needs to be examined afresh. This paper is an effort to present – over-additively – the very essence, the components and the functions of this type of methods. The analysis of self-education skills of pedagogy students have been based on the author’s own research. The paper closes with forming a far-reaching postulate to conduct a more thorough inquiry into the academic research methods of pedagogy students with the view of improving their theory and practice.
