Postęp społeczno-gospodarczy kraju związany z rozwojem przemysłu, różnorakiej infrastruktury technicznej, wdrażaniem nowoczesnych technologii, a także zmieniające się warunki klimatyczne, które powodują występowanie niekorzystnych zjawisk natural - nych, stanowią potencjalne źródła zagrożeń dla człowieka i otaczającego go środowiska. Niezaprzeczalnym faktem jest, że zarówno bezpieczeństwo, jak i zagrożenia, które są z nim nierozłącznie związane, podlegają gwałtownym i dynamicznym przemianom. Mając na uwadze powyższe, należy stwierdzić, że realizacja zadań w zakresie zapewnienia bezpieczeństwa wymaga złożonych nakładów i stosowania coraz nowocze - śniejszych środków przeciwdziałania powstającym zagrożeniom, aby w maksymalnym stopniu chronić interesy państwa i obywateli. Taki stan rzeczy rodzi potrzebę współ - działania, połączenia sił wszystkich odpowiedzialnych podmiotów celem uzyskania większego potencjału, ale również łączenia różnych kompetencji i możliwości osób oraz środków działania im tylko dostępnych. Państwowa Straż Pożarna będąca częścią podsystemu ochronnego i Siły Zbrojne Rzeczpospolitej Polskiej stanowiące element podsystemu obronnego – to podmioty bezpieczeństwa, które realizują nałożone na nie zadania w oparciu o współpracę i współ - działanie. Zakres tej współpracy obejmuje wiele aspektów dotyczących ratownictwa i przeciwdziałania różnego rodzaju zagrożeniom. W artykule przedstawiono wybrane obszary współpracy pomiędzy Państwową Strażą Pożarną a Siłami Zbrojnymi Rzecz - pospolitej Polskiej dotyczące problematyki zapewniania bezpieczeństwa.

The socio-economic progress of Poland associated with the development of industry, the technical infrastructure and implementation of the latest technologies as well as the climatic changes which result in the occurrence of adverse natural phenomena constitute potential sources of risk to human beings and the surrounding environment. It is an undeniable fact that both safety and the inherent risks are subject to rapid and dynamic changes. Jan Ziobro 93 In the light of the above, the implementation of suitable tasks aimed at ensuring safety requires a lot of effort and application of complex, innovative measures to counter the arising threats to the maximum possible extent to protect the interests of the state and its citizens. The situation rises the need for cooperation, merging the efforts of all the responsible entities, in order to obtain a greater capacity, but also to combine dif - ferent skills and abilities of people and means only available to them. The State Fire Services, which constitute part of the protection subsystem, and The Armed Forces of The Republic of Poland, forming part of the defence sub - system, are the security entities carrying out the tasks imposed on them on the basis of the principle of cooperation and collaboration. The scope of cooperation in ques - tion covers a number of aspects relating to the issues of rescue and prevention of all kinds of threats. This paper describes selected areas of cooperation between The State Fire Services and The Armed Forces connected with the implementation of safety and security-specific issues.
