People have been widely discussing advantages of bilingualism recently. The article presents a review of the latest scientific research carried out on children, adults and elderly people, and achieve­ments in different branches of knowledge. The writer discusses the influence of bilingualism on creative thinking, delay of Alzheimer's disease, brain activity and linguistic and cognitive child's development in detail.
