Artykuł ma na celu przedstawić analizę rynku funduszy inwestycyjnych w Luksemburgu. Pomiar rynku odbył się w dwóch kategoriach: według wartości aktywów netto oraz liczby zarejestrowanych podmiotów wspólnego inwestowania i wyemitowanych przez nie jednostek uczestnictwa. Skupiono się również na uporządkowaniu prawnym, zainteresowaniu zarejestrowaniem przedsiębiorstwa w Luksemburgu wśród zagranicznych promotorów, porównaniu rynku Wielkiego Księstwa do rynku światowego oraz wytłumaczeniu z jakich powodów ten mały kraj odniósł wielki sukces. Artykuł został wykonany w oparciu o oficjalne źródła z raportów przygotowanych przez Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF) oraz European Fund and Asset Management Association (EFAMA), a także dzięki aplikacji thetruesize.com, która umożliwiła wizualizację pomocną przy analizie.

The article’s aim is to present an analysis of the investment funds market in Luxembourg. The market was measured in two categories: by the net asset value and the number of registered Undertakings for Collective Investment and units issued by them. It focuses also on legal ordering, foreign promoters’ interest in registering an UCI in Luxembourg, comparing the Grand Duchy market to the world market and explaining the reasons why this small country has been very successful. The article has been prepared on the basis of official sources from reports prepared by the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF) and the European Fund and Asset Management Association (EFAMA), as well as thetruesize.com application, which enabled visualization to assist with the analysis.
