The text is a recapitulation of academic and professional achievements of Professor Ałła Krawczuk, a Ukrainian philologist of the Polish language and the head of the Chair of Polish Studies at the Ivan Franko National University in Lviv. The text deals comprehensively not only with her personal achievements, but also with a dynamic growth of Polish Studies in Lviv, which has a multigenerational tradition. The author writes about the history of the Lviv and a decade of managing the Chair by Prof. Ałła Krawczuk. The historical overview interweaves here with a tale about the present and plans for the future.
