Rodzina Leondouri w powieści Anny Mitgutsch „Familienfest” (2003) jawi się jako swoisty mikrokosmos, a jednocześnie pozostaje niezbędnym trybem nadrzędnych mechanizmów rzeczywistości – kosmosu życia. W artykule podjęto próbę rozpoznania subtelnych połączeń wewnątrz i pomiędzy obiema sferami celem nazwania ich i zinterpretowania w kontekście wyników badań socjologicznych nad dzisiejszą kondycją rodziny i społeczeństwa (H. Kaelble).

The Leondouri family in the novel “Familienfest” by Anna Mitgutsch (2003) is presented as a sort of microcosmos at the same time remaining an indispensable element of the superordinate mechanisms of reality – of the cosmos of life. The paper is an attempt to identify the subtle connections inside and between the two spheres with the aim to name and interpret them in the context of the results of sociological research on the condition of today’s family and society (H. Kaelble). The analysis of the text also includes the method of “thick description” (P. Bourdieu), which makes it possible to answer the question about the meaning of historically changeable markers of everyday life for the strategy of literary recording of the extra-literary reality.
