W 20. rocznicę opublikowania Katechizmu Kościoła Katolickiego, autor analizuje sens dokumentu dla kształtowania życia chrześcijańskiego. W sposób szczególny ukazuje znaczenie Katechizmu dla formacji moralnej, w kontekście zmian, które nastąpiły przy Kościele po Soborze Watykańskim II. Autor wpierw omawia antropologiczno-teologiczne podstawy formacji, następnie omawia szczegółowo znaczenie Katechizmu dla objaśniania na godności osoby, natury wiary oraz treści wiary, podkreślając formację biblijną i liturgiczną. W dalszej części rozważań przedstawia cel formacji chrześcijanina w KKK, zarówno w wymiarze ludzkim, jak i religijnym, moralnym. Artykuł potwierdza wspierającą rolę Katechizmu Kościoła Katolickiego w formacji chrześcijańskiej.

In the 20th anniversary of the publication of the Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC), the author is taking reflection over meaning of the document for the life of the Christian. In the special way source character of the Catechism is depicted for the Christian body, in the context of changes which occurred at the Church after the II Vatican Council. The author first of all is discussing anthropological-theological bases of the formation of the Christian. He is paying attention in addition to the dignity of a person, the nature of the faith as well as the way of explaining to the meaning of the address into CCC. Next is describing this formation, referring to her biblical and liturgical dimension. Moreover he shows the formation of the Christian cells in the Catechism of the Catholic Church, so as achieving the human and religious maturity and forming of moral attitudes. The article is confirming the ancillary role of the Catechism of the Catholic Church with regard to the faith.

Nel 20° anniversario della pubblicazione del Catechismo della Chiesa Cattolica, l’autore analizza il significato del documento per lo sviluppo della vita cristiana. In particolare, si dimostra l’importanza del Catechismo per la formazione di morale nel contesto dei cambiamenti che si sono verificati nella Chiesa e nel mondo dopo il Concilio Vaticano II. Prima l’autore discute i fondamenti antropologici e teologici della formazione, poi tratta in dettaglio l’importanza del Catechismo per la spiegazione della dignità della persona, della natura della fede e del contenuto della fede, mettendo in evidenza la formazione biblica e liturgica. In seguito rappresenta l’obiettivo della formazione cristiana secondo CCC, sia in dimensione morale che umana e religiosa. L’articolo conferma il ruolo di sostegno del Catechismo della Chiesa Cattolica nella formazione cristiana.
