The examples of derivatives presented in the article and providing names of manners of action, which function in the Łęczyca–Sieradz dialects, originally belonged to diminutive names. The present meaning of the derivatives appearing in dialects indicates: 1) the process of their functional neutralization and slow lexicalization caused by the weakened semantic link with the basics, which function in the dialects as augmentative forms, 2) the change of functional responsibility of the -ek, -ka, -ko affixes, which take the mutative function and create similar and instrumental names as a result of derivational reinterpretation of their structure.
