W artykule zaprezentowano przegląd badań nad temperamentem u dzieci z zaburzeniami ze spektrum autyzmu, odwołując się do głównych teorii temperamentu u dzieci. Zwrócono uwagę na różnice w cechach temperamantalnych między dziećmi z zaburzeniami ze spektrum autyzmu a ich rówieśnikami rozwijającymi się typowo oraz dziećmi z innymi zaburzeniami w rozwoju. Ponadto wskazano także kierunki dalszych badań.

The article presents a review of research on temperament in children with autism spectrum disorders, referring to the main child temperament theories. It points out differences in temperamental characteristics between children with autism spectrum disorders, their typically developing peers, and children suffering from other developmental disorders. It also indicates the direction for further research.
