Special Economic Zones (SEZ) are one of the most important instruments stimulating inflow of investors and companies assistance. Establishments having valid permission gain help from the government primarily in the form of tax exemptions. The aim of the article is to present the method of assessing economic effectiveness of public aid gained in SEZs from budget perspective as well as the achievement of SEZs objectives.
