W artykule zwrócono uwagę na główne kierunki rozwoju dydaktyki akademickiej. Przedstawiono istotne problemy, z którymi będzie się musiała zmierzyć szkoła wyższa, chcąc dostosować swoją ofertę dydaktyczną do wymagań współczesności. Z pewnością wymaga to zmiany metod kształcenia i rozwijania nowoczesnych form na bazie technologii sieciowych przy jednoczesnej dbałości o wysoką jakość dydaktyki. Tematyka zawarta w artykule wynika z kilkuletnich badań prowadzonych przez autorkę oraz jej wieloletnich doświadczeń we wdrażaniu e-learningu do procesu dydaktycznego.

Main trends in the development of academic didactics are taken into consideration in this paper. Crucial problems that a higher education institution has to face in order to adjust its educa-tional offer to modern requirements have been presented. Certainly, it requires the change of teaching methods and the development of modern forms of network technologies. At the same time, caring for the high quality of teaching is indispensable. Problems included in the paper result from many years of academic research conducted by the author as well as her several years of experience in the e-learning implementation into the teaching process.
