The article presents a detailed analysis of the professional lexicon of didactics in German as a foreign language prepared by Renata Czaplikowska and Artur Dariusz Kubacki. During assessment of the publication, primarily its thematic scope and usefulness on the publishing market were considered, with a view to other already available publications related to a similar thematic scope. Furthermore, the article evaluates the accuracy of phrases’ selection, the manner of presenting content contained in the lexicon, substantive values, whilst taking into account diverse target groups for which this publication may constitute a valuable source of knowledge. The summary of the article contains a comprehensive evaluation of the publication which constitutes an interesting item on the Polish publishing market.
