In the article the role of education in human values of a personality is determined, the aspects of education in modern secondary, high school and post-graduate training of teachers is analyzed, the new trends in theory and practice of human values education in Ukraine according to the requirements of modern society are outlined. The article can be used in teaching courses of artistic culture in secondary schools, educational, historical, cultural disciplines in universities and for writing the scientific papers, the textbooks and the books, the development of elective courses and special seminars on pedagogy and cultural studies, in conducting educational work with the pupils, the students, the teachers, the organizers of educational, cultural and recreational activities. It is proved that the objective need of modernization modern transformation of the national higher education, general secondary and post-graduate teacher education is to approach the theoretical, methodological, social and educational heritage based primarily on their own vision of universal values as harmonizing the basis for the development of each individual and society as a whole. The revival of heritage professionals helps different generations (current and future) to understand the historical experience, optimize the ways and means of introduction of the new educational concepts and technologies. The prospects for the development aspects of the research are the following: a large-scale synthesis of the philosophical foundations, the methods and forms of teaching as direct impact on society and authorities; developing the methodological principles and means for the system of human values in modern educational work with the young people, parents, students, and the public. Educational system today is designed to ensure filling all parts of the educational process content to help the teachers educate soul, honest and strong characters, to form consciences and public virtues: hard working, sacrifice, respect for elders. Therefore, in our time the educators, scientists and leaders of organizing the educational process pay attention to knowledge axiological content and a variety of reasons connected with the changes in the life of Ukrainian society. These reasons assign the need for the students to take care in the social and psychological adaptation in difficult circumstances of society and dissemination of information, which destroys the human psyche and provokes social, family, ethnic and sectarian conflicts. We determine the need to improve the humanitarian education of children cannot be done without deepening, expansion and integration of knowledge of history, literature, culture, local history.
