Land surveyor Johann Glocksperger and his maps of regions
Languages of publication
This essay discusses a unique (and extant only in fragmentary form) collection of maps of the Czech lands. The maps were produced probably in the first half of the 18th century by the land surveyor Johann Glocksperger (1689–1771), who had not yet received substantial scholarly attention. The study also briefly outlines the life fortunes of this land surveyor and notes his cartographic works.
