Artykuł opisuje wybrane zagadnienia z dziedziny psychologii edukacji: motywację, samoregulację oraz orientację na cel. Ukazuje uznane w środowisku naukowym podejścia i teorie opisujące powyższe zagadnienia: SDT – teorie autodeterminacji, SRL – teorie samoregulacji w uczeniu się oraz teorie orientacji na cel. W pracy omówione zostało postrzeganie motywacji w nurtach: psychodynamicznym, behawioralnym, humanistycznym i poznawczym. Autorzy pracy przedstawiają również wybrane eksperymenty badające wpływ lokowania motywacji na zainteresowanie podejmowanymi aktywnościami oraz obarczanie innych winą za własne niepowodzenia.

The article describes selected issues from the field of educational psychology: motivation, self-regulation and goal orientation. It presents the approaches and theories recognized in the scientific community that describe SDT – theories of self-determination, SRL – theories of self-regulation in learning and theories of goal-orientation. The paper discusses the perception of motivation in the following trends: psychodynamic, behavioral, humanistic and cognitive. The authors also present selected experiments examining the effects of locating motivation on the interest in undertaken activities and blaming others for one‘s own failures.
