Celem niniejszego artykułu jest scharakteryzowanie aktywnej polityki rynku pracy w Polsce oraz zidentyfikowanie metod badania efektywności aktywnych programów rynku pracy. Każdy typ prowadzonej polityki na rynku pracy może oddziaływać różnymi kanałami, zaś ich wpływ na włączenie bezrobotnego na konkurencyjny rynek pracy może być różny. W artykule przedstawiono wybrane wyniki badań w tym zakresie. Wnioski dobitnie udowadniają zasadność i potrzebę przeprowadzania ewaluacji aktywnych programów rynku pracy w Polsce.

The main goal of this article is to characterize the active labour market policy in Poland and identify the methods for testing the effectiveness of active labour market programmes. Each type of labour market policy may work through several different channels and the real impact on inclusion of the unemployed on competitive labour market can be very different. The paper presents selected results of the research in this area. Conclusions of this article prove the validity and necessity of conducting the evaluation of active labour market programmes in Poland.
