The aim of this article is to present an opportunity to use the cost calculation of medical procedures in specific disease entities within the Diagnosis-related group (DRG) system. The system of financial settlement using DRG, and the possibility of using this system to prepare the initial and resulting cost calculation of medical procedures, has been illustrated in cases of disease entities in the studied hospital
