In the text the author shows complexity, dynamism and multidimensionality of hope. She points out the meaning of hope for terminally ill and shows how it becomes exposed in their life. She also shows its significance for those who work with terminally ill. Statements are illustrated by the passages of interviews with terminally ill, conducted by Julita Macała, who were preparing her master’s thesis under my guidance.
