В статье анализируются теоретические и практические проблемы организации и деятельности Правительства в Украине на современном этапе, в частности: характеризуются правовые и политические факторы, влияющие на формирование и функционирование Кабинета Министров Украины; обозначается место Правительства Украины в механизме государственной власти; анализируются тенденции правового регулирования и деятельности правительств в зарубежных государствах и их отражение в политической жизни современной Украины.

The article examines the theoretical and practical aspects of the current structure and functions of the Government of Ukraine. The author sheds lights on: (1) political and legal factors that affect the formation and functioning of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine; (2 ) the role of the Government in the mechanism of state power of Ukraine; (3) the recent trends in legal regulation and activities of the governments in foreign countries as well as the ways in which respective trends are being translated into political life of contemporary Ukraine.
