First minutes of a lesson are very important, because they introduce a learner into a mode of intensive learning and encourage him to think in a foreign language. A foreign language teacher needs to be focused and put a lot of effort in order to carry out the warm-ups properly, on the other hand warm-ups generate natural situation for practising all language skills without a sense of boredom among students.
