Artykuł zawiera rozważania na temat wartości w historii myśli ekonomicznej. Na podstawie książek T. Sedlacka i A. Glapińskiego zanalizowana została rola dobra i zła w tworzeniu pojęć i zasad gospodarowania w przekroju historycznym, aż do dzisiejszych podejść różnych szkół myśli ekonomicznej. Dyskusji poddano też różne drogi poszukiwań metodologii badań ekonomicznych, uwzględniające lub nie czynniki społeczno-psychologiczne w metodologii lub koncentrujące się jedynie na metodach statystycznych i matematycznych.

The article comprises the deliberations on the issue of value in the history of economic thought. Based on the books of T. Sedlacek and A. Glapiński, the author analysed the role of right and wrong in creation of concepts and principles of management historically, till the today's approaches of various schools of the economic thought. She also discussed various ways of search for methodology of economic research taking or not into account the socio-psychological factors in the methodology or focusing only on the statistical and mathematical methods.
