Szybko zapomniany, King wywarł duży wpływ na filozofię działania i kształtujący się model spółdzielczości w Anglii (zwłaszcza na Stowarzyszenie Sprawiedliwych Pionierów z Rochdale). Publikowane artykuły, tj. "Duch Spółdzielczości", "Biblia" oraz "Chrześcijaństwo", wiele mówiące na temat ideowych fundamentów spółdzielczości, pochodzą z: Dr. William King and the Co-operator 1828 - 1830 with introduction and notes by T. W. Mercer, Manchester 1922.

The next (32) part of Cooperative Thought Library reminds of three articles that have been written and published by Dr. William King in his monthly magazine “The Co-operator". Quickly forgotten, King has had a significant impact on operating philosophy and the forming model of cooperative societies in England (especially of the Rochdale Society of Equitable Pioneers). The published articles: "Spirit of Co-operation", "Bible" and "Christianity", which speak much about the ideological foundations of the cooperative movement, comes from Dr. William King and the Co-operator 1828 - 1830 with introduction and notes by T.W. Mercer, Manchester in 1922.
