W artykule dokonano analizy zasad dziedziczenia tronu w wybranych monarchiach europejskich. Omówiono przepisy regulujące następstwo tronu w Belgii, Hiszpanii, Holandii, Norwegii, Szwecji i Wielkiej Brytanii, pominięto zaś takie państwa o ustroju monarchicznym, jak: Luksemburg, Lichtenstein, Monako i Dania.

The article analyses the rules of the throne succession in some European monarchies. It presents the regulatory principles of the throne succession in Belgium, Spain, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden and Great Britain. Monarchies such as Luxembourg, Lichtenstein, Monaco and Denmark have not been described in the article.
