The results of foreign students’ survey at the Preparatory Department of Sumy State University are given. Survey analysis has shown that at the end of training the number of foreign students who are aware of the necessity of Chemistry knowledge for their future profession has increased. Preferred forms of control have changed as well: answer at the blackboard, talk with the teacher. This indicates the successful overcoming of the “language barrier” and academic adaptation.
