PL

Problematyka religii, religijności i duchowości została ukazana w naukowej, interdyscyplinarnej perspektywie jako podstawowy wymiar zasobów jednostki i kapitał społeczny współczesnego społeczeństwa. Zarówno wyzwania indywidualne człowieka związane z kształtowaniem jego własnej biografii, dążeniem do samorealizacji i samostanowienia oraz społeczne pola napięć w ciągle zmieniających się kontekstach społeczno-kulturowych, stanowią jeden z podstawowych wymiarów uzasadnionego naukowo przedmiotu refleksji i działania pedagogiki społecznej oraz pracy socjalnej w ramach tzw. „pomocy duchowej”. Rozumienie tego podejścia teoretycznego i praktycznego, jego zasadność i profesjonalność znajduje swoje uzasadnienie zarówno w antropologii filozoficznej, jak i w naukach społecznych oraz medycznych. Kategoria potrzeb jednostki, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem potrzeb duchowo-religijnych w promocji zdrowia, w wyborze i realizacji kariery zawodowej, jak i tzw. duchowości miejsca pracy oraz paradygmat kapitału społeczno-moralnego, są tu wyznacznikami teoriotwórczego i profesjonalnego oddziaływania w ramach pedagogiki społecznej i pracy socjalnej.

The issue of religion, religiosity and spirituality was presented in scientific, interdisciplinary perspective as a fundamental dimension of individuals’ resources and social capital of modern society. The human challenge of creating one’s own biography, striving for self-fulfilment and self-determination, as well as the social fields of tension in an ever changing socio-cultural context, constitute the fundamental elements of the scientifically justified object of reflection and the influence of social pedagogy and social work within the scope of ‘spiritual help’. The understanding of this type of theoretical and practical approach, its legitimacy and professionalism is enrooted both in philosophical anthropology as well as in social sciences and medicine. The category of individuals’ needs, especially spiritual-religious needs in health promotion, in choosing and pursuing professional career and in so called workplace spirituality and paradigm of socio-moral capital are determinants for theory-creating and professional interactions in the context of social pedagogy and social work.
