The aim of this article is to develop the conditions of the integral knowledge based on John Dewey’s concept of experience. The proposed concept of the integral knowledge is an alternative to unilateral intellectual cognition. Integral knowledge is not only connected with the intellect, but it requires unification of the intellect with the senses, feelings, corporeality and also with imagination and intuition, that is, the aesthetic sphere. The key factor in the integral knowledge is the consciousness that focuses not only on the mind, but also on the feelings and corporeality. Practicing this type of knowledge leads not only to acquire information but also to improving the quality of life and experience, the holistic development of the human being, the inner harmony and satisfaction. In modern western culture practicing this type of knowledge is an important challenge.
