The article provides an analysis of the existing legislation in the selected European countries which have adopted the instrument of a constructive vote of no confi dence (Germany, Spain, Slovenia, Hungary, Belgium and Poland). The author focuses on the procedural aspects of the issue. His intention was to show both similarities and differences in the existing regulatory framework. Under this assumption, the analysis covers all subsequent stages of the procedure for constructive vote of no confi dence, starting from the request and ending with the appointment of a new government.
