Piotr Winczorek’s speech “Is the theory of the state still a science?” was devoted to this issue. It was given at the scientific seminar “The Theory of the State: yesterday – today ‒ tomorrow”. Professor Winczorek draws our attention to the fact that the theory of the state, because of its multi-layered subject of research, cannot be narrowed down only to one research method, but should as well gain from the other sciences acquis. However, it is not at odds with the theory’s of the state scientific character.
