This article is the second in the series of texts devoted to names of Polish progressive rock bands. As it was before, in the years 1990–2003 there were only few solo artists. They signed their albums with their own names and surnames rather than with pseudonyms. In case names of the bands new naming tendencies appeared after 1989. Two of them are the most important. Firstly, the earlier domination of Polish names was substituted with the tendency to give the bands English names, which was to a large extend caused by political changes. Secondly, many bands were given names which referred to classics of the genre.
