Celem artykułu jest prezentacja kina beur, które jest niemal zupełnie nieobecne w polskim dyskursie filmoznawczym. W pierwszej części autorka zaprezentuje etymologię terminu beur, która będzie pomocna dla zrozumienia cech charakterystycznych nowej estetyki filmowej we francuskim przemyśle kinematograficznym. Następnie przedstawieni zostaną pionierzy kina beur, a także współcześni twórcy, z uwzględnieniem podziału na różnorodność poruszanej przez nich tematyki.

The purpose of this article is to present the beur cinema, which is almost nonexistent in Polish film discourse. First, the author presents the etymology of the term beur. This will enable an understanding of its characteristics as a new aesthetic in the French cinematographic industry. Then the beur cinema pioneers are introduced, along with contemporary authors, including a recognition of the diverse themes they introduced.
