In conclusion iof :a 'conference Sin the Miinis'try 'of Culture ąnd Arts idievioted to problems connected with historical monuments in the region of Dublin the author presents two suggestions with concern to perishing wooden istructures. Hd;s suggestions relate especially to those objects which cannot be preserved nor in situ neither in scansen-type open-air museums. It is the author’s view that the timber coming from demolished objects and not exhibiting traces of decay should be preserved as material for repairs carried out an buildings under conservation. As another essentia! measure it is suggested (by the author that the respective outlines should be worked out indicating the methods for preparing photographic and drawing documentation; of demolished objects. The above uniform outlines should comprise detailed indications as to basic materials that may be required for the future scientific 'research and at the same time their preparation be adapted to possibilities possessed by the field conservation authorities.
