The cooperation of citizens with power in post-totalitarian states symbolizes the democratic character of the country. In post-totalitarian political cultures, the concept of citizenship is associated with a sense of belonging and identification with the state. The characteristic type of political culture of society contributes to the establishment of a certain political regime, supports its stable functioning. A regime that contradicts the established norms and values of the political culture of the population cannot function effectively and exercise political power in a society.
