The article is devoted to the participation of teachers and their professional organisation — Polish Teachers’ Union — in the 1938 parliamentary elections in the Province of Lublin. The author examines the attitude of the profession and the Union to the elections, teachers’ work in electoral commissions, attempts to get their own representatives into the upper and lower house, and to prevent the authorities from violating the election law.
