The article contains the description of the activity of the agricultural schools and folk universities in the districts of Lubaczów, Jarosław, Przemyśl, Przeworsk from 1831 to 1939. The agricultural schools were located in Medyka, Gorliczyna and Przemyśl whereas the folk universities were situated in the villages of Gać, Tywonia and Ujemna.
