W artykule dokonano analizy korelaty napływów do ubóstwa dochodowego i odpływów z niego.

The correlates of the inflows to and outflows from income poverty are analysed. With the use of the panel sample from Polish Households’ Budget Survey (BBGD) we verify the hypothesis concerning the poverty risk and poverty persistence in various socio-economic clusters. Detailed results on the poverty among children and consequences of economic activity on poverty persistence are delivered. Additionally we show that the poverty risk drops and poverty persistence rises with age.
