Terroryzm lotniczy jest poważnym problemem we współczesnym świecie z uwagi na szybki rozwój lotnictwa cywilnego i jego wrażliwość na zewnętrzne bodźce. Izraelskie metody ochrony lotnictwa cywilnego są szczególnie skuteczne i maksymalnie udoskonalone ze względu na zaangażowanie tego państwa w wieloletnie konflikty, trwające nadal i generujące liczne akty terrorystyczne skierowane przeciwko państwu. Poniższy artykuł przedstawia istotne elementy tej skomplikowanej ochrony, zasady w niej panujące i niekiedy różnice, które występują w odniesieniu do reszty świata.

Air terrorism is a serious problem in the modern world. Rapid development and a high vulnerability to external interferences of the civil aviation cause an increase in terrorism acts. Israel’s methods of aviation security are particularly effective and have been improved over the years due to the involvement of this country in long-term conflicts. The following article presents essential elements of these complex security rules and a few differences which exist in relation to the rest of the world.
