The aim of the paper is to describe the extent to which human capital of graduates of mechatronics schools meets the expectations of employers operating in the region. The information presented in the paper illustrates the employers' requirements towards employees representing mechatronic professions and indicates gaps in the human capital of graduates within this occupational group. Conducted analysis made it possible to define actions that should be taken to adjust vocational training in mechatronics schools to meet the needs of the labor market in the Lodz region.
