In 2006 China turned its economy into sustainable path. Especially the energy sector has seen many transformations. In 2009, a new Energy Policy was established, which main goal is to change Chinese economy from coal-based-economy into more renewable. At the same time, the Chinese business sector and government have been investing millions of dollars in wind energy sector. The result of those huge investments was a position of a leader in the world’s wind energy sector. The development of wind plants was accompanied by the development of other industries, which provide elements for wind farms. Investments in renewable energy has lately become the core issue for development for the poorest provinces of China. Nowadays, China plans to continue the development of renewable energy resources and base all the industries, especially those energy – intensive, on the removable resources by 2030.
