W artykule identyfikuje się, w płaszczyźnie teoretyczno-opisowej, istotę, węzłowe uwarunkowania i mechanizmy rozwoju nowej dziedziny produktów, tzw. produktów systemowych i ich konsumpcji. Te wielordzeniowe złożone produkty zaspokajają jednocześnie wiele potrzeb konsumenta, z różnych poziomów potrzeb (według modeli ERG). Stanowią przełom w dziedzinie konsumpcji, jak również w tworzeniu (projektowaniu) produktów i usług. W artykule omówiono zarówno węzłowe mikrouwarunkowania, jak i uwarunkowania makroekonomiczne rozwoju tych produktów. Te ostatnie przedstawiono na tle stadiów rozwoju i konkurencyjności współczesnych gospodarek rynkowych. Ustosunkowano się również do problemu ewentualnego spowolnienia rozwoju i upowszechniania produktów systemowych w okresie obecnego światowego kryzysu ekonomicznego.

The paper identifies the essence, key conditions and mechanisms of development of a new branch of products, i.e. the so-called system products and their consumption. This is done in their theoretical-descriptive aspect. These multi-core and complex products satisfy numerous needs of the consumer at the same time and from different levels of needs (according to ERG models). They are a breakthrough both in the field of consumption and in creation (designing) of products and services. The paper discusses both key micro-conditions and macroeconomic conditions of development of such products. The latter are discussed against the background of stages of development and competitiveness of the present-day market economies. The issue of possible slowing down of development and spread of system products in the period of the present-day global economic crisis is also taken into consideration.
