Die Freude der Gerechten, die im Bund mit Jahwe leben und seine rettende Aktion erfahren, in Psalm 33 als „neues Lied“ ausgedrückt ist. Im Laufe seiner Geschichte wurde Israel immer noch mit der Macht der Worte und mit „dem Rat“ von Gott erfüllt und er war bewusst seiner Einzigartigkeit. Das Volk Gottes erlebte ständige Sorge, Vorsehung, Schutz und Unterstützung von Gott. Dies kommt in den Ausdruck von Gott als Schöpfer und Herr aller Geschichte, von dem die Welt abhängig ist. Vor dem Gott Israels wird keine Macht ausdauern. Die Leute vor ihm zittern und die Nationen leben nach seinen Gesetzen und politischen Plänen. Allerdings ist jede militärische Gewalt nichts vor dem, der auf dem Thron im Himmel sitzt. Psalm 33 hat nicht den eschatologischen Charakter und seine Bilder zeigen die laufende Geschichte, das Leben als ein Geheimnis und die Wunder in kreativer Arbeit und Geschichte. Dieser Psalm zeigt die endgültige Herrschaft Gottes in dem Sinne, dass menschliche Kraft, Macht und Herrschaft vergänglich sind und diese Welt strebt nach einer neuen Wirklichkeit.

Radość sprawiedliwych żyjących w przymierzu z JHWH i doświadczających Jego zbawczego działania, wyraża się w Ps 33 jako „nowa pieśń”. W swojej historii Izrael ciągle spotykał się z mocą słowa i „rady” Boga, stając się świadom swej wyjątkowości. Lud Boży doświadczył także, że nieustannie przebywa pod opiekuńczą Opatrznością Boga zapewniającą mu ochronę i pomoc. Dochodzi to do głosu w wyrażeniu myśli o Bogu jako Stwórcy wszystkiego oraz Panu historii, od którego zależny jest cały znany człowiekowi świat. Przed Bogiem Izraela nie ostoi się żadna siła ani potęga, dlatego drżą przed Nim lud i narody, które żyją według swych praw i politycznych planów. Jednak każda siła wojskowa jest niczym przed zasiadającym na tronie w niebie JHWH. Ps 33 nie posiada eschatologicznego charakteru, a jego obrazy słowne wskazują na historię oraz aktualnie przebiegające życie jako tajemnicę i cud zawsze i ciągle urzeczywistniające się w stwórczym dziele oraz historii. Przeanalizowany psalm wskazuje więc na ostateczne panowanie Boga w tym sensie, że ludzkie potęgi, moce i panowania są przemijające, Jego zaś władanie przemienia świat w coraz to nową rzeczywistość.

The joy of just living in covenant with YHWH and experiencing His saving action, expressed in Psalm 33 as “new song”. Throughout its history, Israel met with the power of words and the “advice” of God and became aware of his uniqueness. Also experienced God's people that are constantly present in caring providence of God providing protection and assistance to him. This comes to the fore in the expression of thought of God as the Creator and Lord of all history. No force or power will stand before the God of Israel. The people tremble before him, and nations live according to His laws and political plans. However, each military force is nothing before the One who sits on the throne in heaven. Psalm 33 does not have the eschatological character, and his pictures show currently running history and life as a mystery and a miracles in creative work and history. The examined psalm points to the final reign of God in the sense that human powers are transient, and the possession of this world turns increasingly to a new reality.
