The paper introduces a few basic theses of the current music semiotics in the context of possible application in music education at secondary schools. It clarifies the principles of the language of music (i. e., of a paradigm), which differ on every level of style and genre, and takes the language of Mozart’s classicism as a base for conscious listening to a musical composition. A unique method which is aimed at the verification of the results of work is presented in the article as well.
