This note deals with the Late Antiquity oil-lamps at present in the collections of the M.A.N and Barcelona Archaeological Museum. Since many years, the author devoted herself to ceramic studies, among which are those regarding the Iberian oil-lamps. She published (see the attached references) the oil-lamps from Alicante and Elche, a few other Roman oil-lamps from Barcelona, and the Late Roman Madrid collection. Recently, she prepared for publication the catalogue of the oil-lamps from Rosas and Gerona (see this volume pp. 13-24) and she also published a specimen from Baelo Claudia, which is at present in the collections of Madrid Museum. The scope of these papers was not only to catalogue the oil-lamps, but also to go deep into the study of the history of the Iberian collectionism, which also includes so-called Late Antiquity oil-lamps. Amongst them, it was possible to identify the specimens imported from Italy and North Africa, which are now stored in the collections of Madrid and Barcelona, as well as those reproduced in Elche and Alicante. Apart from these cate¬gories, it was possible to define the oil-lamps, which are to be considered typical for the Iberian Peninsula (see MODRZEWSKA-PIANETTI 2004), at present in the Madrid and Barcelona collections, which the present author calls christian-iberian. To the study is attached a map drawn by the author, which shows where the christian-iberian oil-lamps were discovered and the museums where they are kept today (Fig. 3).

Ten artykuł jest poświęcony lampom późnoantycznym przechowywanym w Narodowym Muzeum Archeologicznym (M.A.N.) w Madrycie i w Muzeum Archeologicznym w Barcelonie. Autorka od lat zajmuje się badaniami nad ceramiką, w tym nad lampami antycznymi. Opublikowała (zob. bibliografia) lampy z Alicante, Elche, niektóre zabytki z Barcelony, z M.A.N., z Rosas i Gerony (zob. w tym tomie p. 13-24), a ostatnio lampę odnalezioną w Baelo Claudia. Celem podejmowanych opracowań było nie tylko skatalogowanie lamp, ale też poznanie historii kolekcjonerstwa hiszpańskiego, w tym także lamp antycznych. Wśród tej kategorii zabytków można wyróżnić importowane z Italii i Afryki północnej, notowane w kolekcjach madryckich i barcelońskich, ale też iberyjskie, produkowane lokalnie w Alicante i Elche. Poza wymienionymi kategoriami, można też wyróżnić typ lamp charakterystycznych dla produkcji późnoantycznych Półwyspu Iberyjskiego (zob. MODRzEWSKA-PIANETTI 2004). Ten ostatni typ lamp jest obecny w kolekcjach Madrytu i Barcelony i nazwany został przez autorkę typem chrześcijańsko-iberyjskim. Dla celów niniejszego opracowania powstała mapa przygotowana przez autorkę, która przedstawia miejsca znalezisk lub przechowywania lamp chrześcijańsko-iberyjskich (Fig. 3).
