The Quest for HRD in Poland

Languages of publication

The main aim of this paper is to outline multifarious factors driving the shape of HRD in Poland. Factors establishing National HRD are identified and discussed by comparison to the McLean and McLean definition [2001] of NHRD. Some important ratings are shown in agreement with Wang’s indication [2007] of the need to refer to the latest national Human Development Reports. Finally, assuming that HRD varies at the national level, an analysis of adjustments to one of the strategies mentioned by Cho and McLean [2004] is the next objective of this study.
