Service quality in the health care sector is a point of interest of patients and many groups and entities responsible for health care services operation. The aim of the article is to present the PATH model and the PATH project, developed by WHO – World Health Organization, dedicated to national health care systems improvement. Core elements of the model are service quality and patient satisfaction. The authors of the paper presented basic elements of PATH model and explained the idea of PATH project.
