W artykule zaprezentowano rangę i specyfikę polityki pieniężnej w aspekcie gospodarstwa domowego, strategię polityki pieniężnej w Polsce oraz konsekwencje realizacji polityki pieniężnej państwa. W związku z tym przedstawiono również istotę behawioralnego podejścia do pieniądza. Ponadto wskazano na ważne relacje między polityką pieniężną i rynkiem kapitałowym w kontekście portfela finansowego gospodarstwa domowego.

The article presents the importance and specificity of monetary policy in the context of the household, the monetary policy strategy in Poland and the consequences of the implementation of the monetary policy of the state. Therefore, it also shows the nature of the behavioral approach to money. Moreover it emphasized the important relationship between monetary policy and capital market in the context of the financial portfolio of the household.
