Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie konceptualizacji i narzędzi pomiaru indywidualnej orientacji przedsiębiorczej. Jego realizacja była oparta na wynikach studiów literatury oraz wynikach ilościowych badań empirycznych, które przeprowadzono w celowo dobranej dużej organizacji prowadzącej działalność w sektorze IT. Badaniem objęto 478 pracowników tej organizacji niebędących menedżerami. Na podstawie rezultatów tych prac badawczych udowodniono istnienie indywidualnej orientacji przedsiębiorczej, a zatem pewnej wartości na najniższym poziomie w hierarchii organizacyjnej. Ponadto ustalono, że pracownicy uaktywniając swoje zachowania przedsiębiorcze jako zachowania poza rolą, będą mogli doświadczać wysokich wyników. Kontynuowanie prac badawczych nad zależnościami między orientacją przedsiębiorczą pracowników a osiąganymi przez nich wynikami wpisuje się w sugerowany kierunek badań mający na celu lepsze zrozumienie relacji pomiędzy tymi zmiennymi na poziomie indywidualnym.

The aim of this article is to present conceptualization and individual entrepreneurial orientation measurement tools. It was based on the results of the scientific literature studies and quantitative results of empirical research, which was conducted in a large organization of IT sector activities that was intentionally selected. The research included 478 non-managerial employees of this organization. Basing on the results of the research work it was proved that there was the existence of individual entrepreneurial orientation as a certain value at the lowest level in the organizational hierarchy. Moreover, it was established that the employees who activated their entrepreneurial behaviors as extra-role behavior would be able to experience high results. The continuation of research work on the relationship between the entrepreneurial orientation of employees and the results achieved by them is the part of the direction of research suggested that aims to better understanding of relations between these variables on the individual level.
