Islám v kvestii Šimona z Tišnova o třech náboženstvích
Islam in The Question of Šimon of Tišnov on Three Religions
Languages of publication
The subject of this article is the question which Master Šimon of Tišnov probably presented during a de quolibet disputation in Prague in January 1412, dealing with the issue of whether Christianity is a more perfect religion than Islam and Judaism. This article analyses Šimonʼs knowledge of Islam (drawn from works by John of Wyclif and Riccoldo da Monte Croce) and places it in the context of Prague Wycliffism and religious disputes.
